If you are wondering why you are receiving an email from “Nordic Prairie Life,” don’t worry—your inbox hasn’t been hacked, and you didn’t accidentally sign up for a new list. It’s still me, Shara.

I am officially transitioning away from my old domain name (recipesandroots.ca) and moving everything over to my new home: nordicprairielife.ca. Along with the new name, I am moving my newsletters over to Substack because it gives me much better control over how I stay in touch with you.

It has been an incredibly busy season behind the scenes making this shift happen. I recently wrote a personal piece about what this transition has felt like—about shedding layers of the past and deliberately creating something new.
